"Studio Scene" - 24 x 24"

Original 24 x 24" / 60 x 60cm oil on panel in black float frame.

Frame measures approx 25 x 25" / 62 x 62cm.

This particular piece depicts a favourite corner of my studio that catches the light beautifully in the late afternoon. Here I place finished small pieces to display atop the stack of drawers which hold some of my materials. I really enjoy painting foliage, but I am far better at bringing plants to life in paint, than I am at keeping them alive in my studio. I've never tried to re-paint one of my pieces before, so it was a fun challenge to re-create this kookaburra painting within this piece.
